Hi there,
I'm a new member of this forum and I'm wondering how do I sign up for this trip? I have a 2006 RRS with stocks tires is it gonna make the trail ok? Thanks!

Click on the Calendar Tab at the top and click on the event. At the bottom is a place to click on to say you will go on that event. You should have no problems, as the trip sheet indicates that the trail can be done with any stock vehicle.

Jimmy-

First of all, welcome to the Club. I look forward to meeting you.

Yes, your truck will have no trouble on this trip. Just be sure to have a full size spare, just in case.

See you then.

Frank, looking forward to see you. I am coming up with David, a photographer friend of mine... He is no astronomer, but he teaches night photography classes at a nearby college, so if there are any shutterbugs in the group, bring your cameras and tripods as we may get free tips to catch some of those streaking babies in the sky! ;)

Realistically, what time do you think we will be back on the freeway if we leave the observation spot at 11p as per your schedule? It looks like a fairly long trail between that area and the 14, but I have never been there. I don't much care about the time myself, but I'd like to give the wife a rough idea so she doesn't call the National Guard on me if I am not back home by midnight...

Thanks again for putting this run together.
