DATE CONFIRMED!

This is a free SCLR trip and the group will be deciding their own trails, it's simply a time to get together and do what we each want to; together or separately each day. me at [email protected] with any other questions.

We'll shoot some details/trip sheet out to those interested in April about where we will be so anyone interested can join in [including meeting location, camping/lodging locations, etc]. In the meantime get your trail lists together!

-Date is confirmed: MAY 16-21
-We need a vacation. If you do too then find us in Moab
-No fee or charge as this is a vacation trip and everyone does the trails they want. All are responsible for paying their own way and obtaining any passes or permits
-All makes/models welcome
-Children of polite and mature nature more than welcome
-Tread Lightly trip!
-This is an SCLR trip
-Join in the fun but all will play a part in choosing and leading the trails
-Play host on trails the group votes on....love a particular trail then you'll likely lead it!
-Likely trails such as Poison Spider, Wipeout Hill, Golden Spike, Hell's revenge and even an opportunity to wheel on a private off-road property!

We will look for inexpensive basic cabins for lodging but plan on this being a group camping trip.

Those who are considering going; please contribute here for trail suggestions. If you have alternate suggestions please post them here.

The classic trails are:
- Poison Spider
- Wipeout Hill
- Golden Spike
- Hell's Revenge
- Kane Creek Canyon
- AreaBFEAreaBFE

As well, we'll likely spend at least one day [currently planned for two] at Olaf's land at AreaBFE . Here's the way the week's laying out currently.

Adam Spiker unfortunately has had a business conflict and will not be able to be trip leader for the adventure, but he has asked me to step in to lead the adventure. I am still looking forward to a great time exploring the great trails around Moab. We may have to adjust the proposed schedule a little, as I will be arriving on the 16th, so I don't plan on any trails that day, but that may change depending on when I arrive. Tentatively, a reservation was made for a cabin that sleeps 3 or 4 people at the Slick Rock Campground. It was the last cabin they had for the dates of the 16th through the 21st.

Would love to see more SCLR members come along! Contact me if more questions.... B)

So we still have room for the trip coming up. So far, two from SCLR plus a guest from Alberta, Canada. Slickrock Campground will be our home base, so we probably won't be camping on the trail, and they have cabins if you don't want to camp. We plan to head out of SoCal on Saturday, but if you can't make the whole time, just let me know by pm and I'll give you my cell so you can connect with us later in the week. This is vacation time, and you know you need a vacation...

Weather should be perfect...come on...you know you want to go...
