Another Successful outing for SCLR MembersNew Member Run Cleghorn
Great turnout for another sucessful SCLR outting. The new member outting is a wonderful way for members new and old, to meet, fellowship, learn and get to know the eight wonder of the world; their Rovers. Keep checking the SCLR calendar for new events as we hope to make 2009 one of our most event filled years to date. Cleghorn Ridge Trail is a combination of two separate trails, one difficult and the other easy that intersect at several points. Beginning at Silverwood Lake, California Hwy 138 this trial offers ridge top views over Mount Baldy and ends at I-15 at Cajon exit 34°17'58.20"N 117°27'24.10"W or at Hwy 138 again at 34°19'30.77" N 117°25'21.53"W The difficult trail runs from Silverwood entrance to 34°18'43.94"N 117°26'17.37"W intersection, the rest is easy. The roughly graded route in this trail is suitable for high clearance 2WD in dry weather. The US Forest Service has designated this trail as 2N47. |
