I'd like to lead something but it will be slow going with a mad director of photographer yelling instructions.

I may be over zealous but I've learned from the best in trying to cram everything in. I'm not sure if there is any interest in shooting video but I do have requirements for the types of trucks. They have to be cool looking. Battered, bruised and covered in dirt, racks, lights and brush guards are all desired.

If I have to go alone then I'll just fix it in post! B)

Just come out and say it. You want John Short to drive his truck in your video.

We can make this happen. What trail do you want to run? I'd be happy to help you out with it. I don't have a roof rack or lights but I can fab that stuff up real easily with cardboard, tape and aluminium foil. After driving through a couple puddles it'll look just like an old school Brownchurch rack.

Gold Mountain (or Holcomb/Lower Larga)
Difficult
Sunday

I'll lead a trail on Sunday. It will be a Difficult rated trail. I don't really know which one it will be but it'll be cool. We'll either do Gold Mountain or something with Holcomb and Lower Larga involved. If anyone else wants to lead any of these trails they are more than welcome too. I'm just signing up to lead it but I don't HAVE to lead it.

Gold is pretty easy compared to Holcomb/Larga, put you down for Larga.

Horsthief would probably be good for a photo run.

For those of you with Google Earth, this is a KML File link that shows every trail in the Big Bear area, as well as campgrounds, etc. Great Resource!

Link to KMZ File of SB Nat. Forest

If you have Google Earth, just click on the link to save it to your computer. Then open the link in Google Earth.
