Miller Jeep Trail 2 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hello - can anyone advise if a stock Disco II (with BFG TA Tires) can handle Miller Jeep Trail at Hungry Valley OHV?

I am heading up with a couple of wheelers (Defender, Jeep) on Monday July 5 at around 9am for a few hours.

Thanks
Kurt

Do you have Center Diff Lock?

Made it up in a Stock LR3 ~2 years ago.. on a Donut Spare No less... only a few parts were tough... rest was simple...

Have no idea since its been re-opened though...

OH - guess I should verify if it is open - thanks for the heads up

No lockers on my 2003, but others will have winch...however if my vehicle is not suitable perhaps an alternate trail will have to suffice.

Absolutely! Anyone reading this message is welcome to join us - this is not an official club event.

We are meeting at 9am at the SOUTH entrance to Hungry Valley SVRA - NB 5, exit Smokey Bear Rd - turn left and go under the fwy - turn left on Pyramid Lake Rd and then immediatley on the right is the Hungry Valley Rd entrance - we will meet right there at the entrance...here is the link for info on that state park.

Miller Jeep Trail is actually part of Los Padres NF. I have confirmed it is open but considered "very difficult", so we may opt for one or more of the trails at HV. Between the trails and the practice area there is usually enough for a decent adrenaline rush

Having said all that, we will be there at 9am and go from there.
