can't wait I just made my reservations at furnace creek rv park at the hotel. My friend jon has a 34 ft rv so we are all set. were bringing the wives this time see yaall soon

I would love to make this trip....I can't even remember the last time I've been out on the trail! It would be great to dust off the ol trailer and camp at the RV park too!

For those attending my DV Geology Tour, I'm suggesting you bring along some appropriate footwear for some minor hiking. [This especially goes for Yoko ;-) ]

A few of my planned stops have the road ending short of the truly interesting parts and will require some minor hiking.

Obviously, those not interested could stay with the trucks; we won't be gone too long.

According to Tina, who is in charge of reservations at Furnace Creek Ranch, there is a chance that we may get the tail end of the Wildflowers, especially at the higher elevations. Be sure to bring cameras!

is olancha very far from furnace creak. We will be spending thursday night at the rv
park at the ranch so we will be ready to go friday morning.

Figure about 2 hours travel time.
