Friday, October 1, 2004
Meet at the Ramada Inn in El Centro at 10:00 AM. From there we will cross the border, cut down Laguna Salida lake bed and work our way to our home for the next two nights (approx. 35 miles), Canon De Guadalupe.

The remainder of the day we can relax in the natural hot tubs and explore the local pools and terrain. We have 3 of the largest hot springs (Jacuzzi/palapas) reserved for 4 vehicles each.

Bring a tent or weather permitting sleep under the stars.

Saturday, October 2, 2004
I plan to take a spin to Laguna Hansen. A beautiful lake up in the Sierra Jaurez mountains. When you think of Baja, it's usually cactus and rock. This is different with lots of pines and granite. Probably one of the most picturesque places in Northern Baja. Remember, we come back to the hot springs to soak away the road grime.

Sunday, October 3, 2004
We will pack up and drive south of the Canyon over the mountain range to Hwy 3 near Hero's De La Independencia (those who cannot take Monday off can head home from there). Through Valle de Trinidad and turn off to the Score Baja 1000 Race route up to Mike's Sky Rancho.

Here you can camp along the river or take a room. Rooms include Rancho style diner and breakfast at about $50. Camping about $15.

Monday, October 4, 2004
Work our way over the mountains to Hwy 1 near Colonet and up the gorgeous coastline to the border at Tijuana.

Meals

All meals will be camp meals, unless you decide to eat diner Sunday and breakfast Monday at Mike's.
