This is a fee event. Each vehicle will be required to pay a Registration Fee of $10.00, if a member of a local Land Rover club, or $25.00 for nonmembers.
Campsites are available for both Friday and Saturday nights at a cost of $10.00 per campsite -- this includes both nights, even if you are only camping for one night. There are three camping areas associated with the Shady Cove Group Campground, and Campsite "A" has been set aside for families, which will be observe an earlier curfew than Campsites "B" and "C". See the map below.
Each campground has fire pit BBQ's and picnic tables. And best of all, there are real flush restroom facilities! If you have room in your vehicle, please bring firewood.
Saturday night's festivities include a BBQ dinner at a cost of $15.00 per person. If you do not RSVP there will not be a meal for you!
One event tshirt is provided with each Registration Fee, and additional tshirts are available at $10.00 each.
A number of vendors are sponsoring the Rover Rendezvous 4.0 and are providing an array of great door prizes to be raffled off after Saturday's dinner. Raffle tickets are available for $1.00 each.
NOTE REGARDING CANCELATIONS: For a full refund, cancelations must be received by email (click here to cancel your RSVP) by 5:00 pm on Friday, July 16th. Cancelations received after the deadline but prior to the start of the event will only be refunded for camping, registration and raffle tickets. Fees paid for meals and additional tshirts will not be refunded, but additional tshirts that were purchased will be mailed after the event. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR NO-SHOWS OR CANCELATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THE START OF THE EVENT, SORRY!
From Highway 330, exit at Running Springs. Turn right on Highway 18. Drive approximately one mile to the Deerlick Ranger Station (AKA: Children's Forest Visitor Center). Turn right between the Valero Gas Station and the Ranger Station on Keller Peak Road and proceed five miles to the Children's Forest. Turn left at the Children's Forest Trail and follow the signs to Shady Cove, sites A, B and C. The Keller Peak Road is paved all the way to the campground.
The campground is in a "locked" area, and in order to gain entry you must enter a code at the gate. The gate code is: 1941 If you don't want to camp in the designated campground you must obtain an Adventure Pass, available at the Ranger Station for $5.00.
Camp "A" will be for families seeking a little peace and quiet for the "little ones", Camp "B" will be open to anyone, and Camp "C" will be the main camp where Saturdays dinner and raffle will be held. This site will also be available for sponsors to set up camp. If you have the room in your vehicle, please bring firewood.

Check-in and registration resumes at the Campsite "C" at 8:00 am, with trail rides expected to start at 8:30 to 9:00 am. There will be several trails from which to choose covering all levels of experience, and appropriate for stock or modified Land Rovers. Although we ask for your trail preference on the Online Registration form you are free to change your mind and sign up for a different trail, if space is available.
Saturday night will bring everyone together at Campsite "C" for a group BBQ dinner, a raffle for door prizes, and other festivities.

Late check-in and registration will resume on Sunday morning at 8:00 am at Campsite "C". Again, trail rides will leave between 8:30 and 9:00 am with trail choices suitable for everyone. At the close of the day, we'll strike camp (volunteers appreciated!) and everyone will wonder off toward home.
