Leaving at 9.00am

Itinerary

Joining Mojave Road off Needles highway.

Driving to Fort Piute for lunch.

Then on to just west of the Kelso-Cima Road to the campsite (Primitive Camping) Same location as last year, down a large wash, west of Beale mountains.

Day 2

Leave camp ground around 9.00am. Continue along Mojave Road heading towards Afton Canyon. Last year we made it to Afton Campsite by about 4.00pm

Water (1 gal/person/day)

Full size spare tire

Recovery Gear (optional)

Food

Camping equipment

Clothing (warm/cold and dry/wet)

FRS radio and/or CB radio

Air compressor or tank in case we air down and need to air back up

Total trip along this section of Mojave Road is about 140 miles.
