LATE Registration Fee: After July 4th 2009, RR9 will have an additional $10 fee per registration.
Costs: Event cost is $40 for SCLR members and $50 for non-members and includes one (1) T-shirt. Late registration will be $50/$60. T-shirts can be purchased for $20 each.
Meals: All meals for this event are by you. There will be one optional meal provided at this event which will be a Bar-B-Que on Saturday night. BBQ Meat, multiple side dishes, salad and a drink. The cost for this will be $20 per person.
Itinerary: Friday, July 24, 2009 Early check-in and registration will begin at 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon at the main camp, Skyline Group section on the west side of the camground area ). Friday night's dinner is on your own. Saturday, July 25, 2009 Check-in and registration resumes at the Skyline Loop at 8:00 am, with trail rides expected to start at 8:30 to 9:00 am. There will be several trails from which to choose covering all levels of experience, and appropriate for stock or modified Land Rovers. Although we ask for your trail preference on the Online Registration form you are free to change your mind and sign up for a different trail, if space is available. Groups are limited to 10 trucks per Forest Service regulations. Any trail with more than 10 trucks will broken into staggered groups at 30 minutes intervals.
Saturday night will bring everyone together at Skyline Loop for a group BBQ dinner, a raffle for door prizes, and other festivities.
Sunday, July 26, 2009 Late check-in and registration will resume on Sunday morning at 8:00 am at Skyline Loop. Again, trail rides will leave between 8:30 and 9:00 am with trail choices suitable for everyone. At the close of the day, we'll strike camp (volunteers appreciated!) and everyone will wonder off toward home.
Meals Saturday and Sunday breakfast is on your own. Lunch is on trail each day, so bring your own. Friday's dinner is on your own, and a pre-paid BBQ dinner is available for Saturday night at $20.00 for each adult, $10 for each child.
Alternative Accommodations Participants are free to stay at one of the many area motels, hotels and cabins for rent. Although it is a few miles drive to the nearest, meals can be obtained at local eateries.

For a full refund, cancelations must be received by email by 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 4th, 2009. Cancelations received after the July 4th deadline, but prior to July 24th will only be refunded for registration and raffle tickets. Fees paid for meals and additional t-shirts will not be refunded, but additional t-shirts that were purchased will be mailed after the event. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AFTER THE START OF THE EVENT, SORRY! Refunds will be paid by check following the event.
At Hwy 38 & Forest Road #1N02 is a huge, pine forested valley, right next to San Gorgonio Wilderness. Heartbar Campground, Heart Bar Horse Camps, RV Dispersed Sites. Highway 38 - SE of Big Bear Lake; Hiking & Equestrian Trails with ridges of 10,000′ elevation.
This valley is a developed recreation area w/ 94 camp sites, plus big equestrian area. Picnic, hiking, mountain biking, horseback trails, plenty RV spots, even a creek. (Oooops I meant the Santa Ana River) Highway 38 is kinda the long way into Big Bear Lake, up thru Angelus Oaks.
Camp Rules
Animals - Pets, other than seeing eye dogs, must be caged or on a leash no longer than 6 feet or otherwise under physical restrictive control. Be aware that coyotes have been known to attack unattended pets. Please do not feed squirels or other animals that can carry plague.
Disturbing the peace - Please do not disturb others. Campers who engage in fighting, nudity, threatening or abusive behavior, language or unreasonable noise will be told to leave. Unreasonable noise includes the operation of radios, Tvs, musical instruments, public address systems, generators, motors or enigines in such a manner or at such a time as to disturb others. QUIET TIME in the campgrounds is from 10PM to 6AM. Please refrain from playing radios or making any other noise during these hours. Please remember that many people come to enjoy peace and the solitude of nature during the daytime as well. Unreasonable noise must be avoided at all times and will not be tolerated.
Firearms - Please be aware that it is unlawful to display or discharge a firearm or any other implement capable of taking human life, causing injury or damaging property ( this includes bows and arrows, pellet guns, bb guns and slingshots) anywhere in the campground area at any time. shooting presents too great of a risk for the unwary hiker or small child.
