SCLR Rattlesnake Canyon

Trail Details:

Rattlesnake Canyon is a unique 17 mile non-wilderness corridor trailThat takes you through the Bighorn Mountains Wilderness along sidethe eastern 2007 foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains. The trailoffers a rare transit ion between yucca and Joshua tree covereddesert floor as the Bighorn Mountains tower along side the canyon.Trail Condit ions:I consider this t rail as a simple t rail, very scenic, some soft sandyareas and some places it gets rocky. This t rail is never cliffy or tippy.It’s a fun t rail and Stock Land Rovers will be fine. Please remove side

steps or Air dams.

Lunch:

Lunch will be on the t rail. Please bring plenty of water as it will be ahot day.After the trail we will be stopping at Pioneer Town for some refreshments and food.

Pioneer Town a functioning town originallybuilt as a movie set back in 1946. We will stop there to look aroundand to regroup before departing home. I expect to be home around 4or 5pm
