Dear SCLR members & friends,
I'm pleased to announce that the SCLR's Annual Meeting will be held at noon on Sunday, December 8, 2002, at The Old Ship Restaurant, 1120 W. 17th Street, in Santa Ana, California. Members and guests will hear reports on club activities, elections will be held for 2003 directors, and other business will be conducted, as necessary. This is the club's most important meeting of the year and I urge all members to attend. To complement this year's affair, an English brunch buffet will be offered by The Olde Ship at a cost to members of $12.00 per person, $15.00 for nonmembers, paid in advance via the Annual Meeting RSVP form on the club's website.
Buffet items include:
Fish and Chips Green Salad Assorted Sandwiches Deviled Eggs Fresh Fruit Platter You are not required to purchase a meal to attend the Annual Meeting, but we'd like to stress the importance of submiting your RSVP so that we can ensure a seat for you.
